Carnivals Collection By Juliana Silva

Carnivals is a collection of artworks and accessories inspired by the importance of celebrations as a way to transform negative energy into positive. Celebrating involves sharing, gathering as a community, and experiencing collective joy, all of which contribute to our happiness. I had the opportunity to attend two of the most significant celebrations in Colombia: the Blacks and Whites Carnival and the Cali Fair. Additionally, I researched the history of carnivals and the significance of dance, music, and costumes for our well-being. Through this series of artworks, I aim to communicate my findings and experiences.
